Fellowship Church Sermon Podcast

Having laid the foundation with a biblical overview of worship in the first episode, co-hosts John Shimp and Pastor Karl Dyrli sit down with our lead pastor, Stephen Anderson, to talk about the purpose of a worship service. They explore the biblical and theological underpinnings of corporate worship, emphasizing its role in glorifying God, edifying the congregation, and fulfilling the church's mission. Through thoughtful conversation, they aim to deepen listeners' understanding of worship beyond personal preference, highlighting its significance as we both love one another and glorify God.

They discuss the way the localized church gatherings are an expression of the universal church, the way individualism in our culture can negatively impact our perspective on the church along with Scriptural correctives, and so much more.
